Overview:

The Black Arowana is a majestic and powerful predatory fish known for its striking dark coloration and surface-skimming behavior. This Arowana and the Jardini are the only ones that don't usually get drop eye. It is best suited for experienced aquarists with large aquariums and a deep understanding of water chemistry and predator care. While similar to its more common cousin, the Silver Arowana, the Black Arowana tends to be a bit more sensitive, especially in early life stages. With proper conditions, it can become the showpiece of any large freshwater setup.
